Hamptons Cup VIP

In the Hamptons: A Housewife and a Show Boat

There’s watching a tournament and then watching a tournament. The first is standing in the crowd, craning to see over flags and cell phone cameras (in the case of the Kentucky Derby, towering fascinators); the second is observing from millionaire’s row with cocktails and A-list company along with a million-dollar view. In the trail of the Derby and the Preakness, the Hamptons Cup is the latest where VIPs can trade up to, well, the VIP treatment. And since this the Hamptons, there’s no shortage of ritzy cocktails or company involved.

Taking place at the Bridgehampton Polo Club on August 16th game day, Talent Resource’s Hamptons Cup experience has attracted the likes of Bai, The Calling, and Heineken, among others—and those are just some of the sponsors. Fellow A-list names include Kelly Killoren Bensimon, the real housewife hosting the event, and the polo players who stop by for a meet-and-greet. To top it off, guests can pair burgers catered by Whitman’s NYC with water by L’Alpina and wine by Joseph Carr, also co-sponsoring the event. And what doesn’t look ten times better through rosé-colored glasses?
