Call it a comeback without calling it a comeback. Maybe it’s because Lindsay decamped from the Chateau Marmont to an idyllic life in Dubai. Whatever the reasons, these are the spots you’ll see Lindsay in her new adopted home in the Middle East.

In 2014, the Freakier Friday star made the move to Dubai, citing privacy and the family-friendly atmosphere as main reasons for the relocation out of the U.S. Lindsay lives in the metropolis with her husband, Kuwaiti-born financier Bader Shammas, and their son, Luai.

Before their son was born, Lindsay and Bader indulged in a luxurious babymoon at Dubai’s famed Atlantis The Royal. The glamorous five-star resort features a 90-meter-high infinity sky pool and an 8-meter-high fire-and-water fountain show, which runs around every half hour each day.

During the trip, the couple dined at Nobu. Lindsay is no stranger to Nobu, as she also attended a star-studded opening of Nobu One Za’Abeel in January 2026.

A Sky-High Photoshoot

The actress recently graced the cover of Vogue Arabia, with the striking photoshoot, taking place on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab. And the shoot wasn’t just iconic for its location.

Lindsay has had a multifaceted career, with her pop-star era redefining the music of the early 2010s. So, she paid homage to the “Rumors” music video during the Vogue Arabia shoot.

Complete with dramatic views of the Arabian Gulf and the Palm Jumeirah, the hotel was designed by architect Tom Wright. It one of the most standout buildings that make up the Dubai skyline.

Following a secret wedding (staying true to her desire for privacy), Lindsay and her husband celebrated married life in Turkey. The newlyweds honeymooned at The Bodrum EDITION.

Located on the Turkish Riviera, Bodrum is a picturesque, sun-soaked escape that draws vacationers from near and far. With a blend of history, nightlife, and culture, what more could you ask for?

London Calling

When the Mean Girls star relocated to the UAE, it wasn’t the first time she’d lived internationally. The actress often moves around for jobs, and she previously spent an extended time in London.

Of course, 1998’s The Parent Trap saw Lindsay working in the English capital — along with a pretty convincing British accent. However, she’s since spent time in the city for several other jobs.

She made her West End debut in 2014 and rented out an apartment in the neighborhood. The move across the pond is something that she’s said helped her “grow up,” and was arguably the start of the Lohan renaissance.

Dancing Queen in Mykonos

Lindsay enjoyed a brief stint on the gorgeous Greek island of Mykonos, even opening up her own beach club. Lohan Beach House Mykonos was where that iconic meme of the actress dancing like nobody’s watching originated from.

Additionally, the club was the center of an MTV show, which aired in 2019.

While you sadly can’t visit Lindsay’s now-closed club, Mykonos still has a lot going on if you, too, are a Dancing Queen and love a lively night out, surrounded by crystal clear waters and whitewashed homes.
