Louis Vuitton Tea Time in Paris

Louis Vuitton café in Paris Tea Time

One of the best parts of Britain’s gastronomic culture is afternoon tea. In fact, having a pot of Darjeeling along with some mini cucumber sandwiches at The Clermont or Claridge’s is a rite of passage for any luxury traveler in London. But afternoon tea isn’t limited to Albion any longer. The concept has successfully exported to France’s chicest venue: the Louis Vuitton café in Paris. There, renowned pastry chef Maxime Frédéric has created a Tea Time menu that is not only appetizing, but also oh-so-Instagram-able. Monogrammed tiramisu, anyone?

Awarded the title of World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2025, Maxime Frédéric knows how to craft an afternoon tea menu that does not disappoint. There are three options on the menu for guests to choose from, all at different price points ranging from 55€ (65 USD) to 115€ (135 USD).

The Discovery option includes six mini desserts, one beverage, and one pastry to share. The Expedition also offers six mini desserts, one beverage, and one pastry to share, but also one savory item or plated dessert. The Odyssey is the most generous choice with six mini desserts, one beverage, one pastry to share, one savory item, and one plated dessert. If you want to enjoy a flute of Champagne with your afternoon tea, that’s entirely possible for the price of 15€ (18 USD).

Every item served is not only so beautifully prepared and delicate that it looks like a piece of jewelry, but it also bears Louis Vuitton’s signature pattern: a geometric floral motif and the initials of Louis Vuitton.

Note that Tea Time is served every day between 11 AM and 6 PM. It is highly recommended to reserve in advance.

If you prefer full-size food to mini desserts and savory bites, know there are other options for you to enjoy at the Louis Vuitton café between 11 AM and 7 PM every day.

There are plenty of delicious, regular-size pastries and beverages. The tea menu is extensive, but if you prefer something different, there are also coffee drinks, cocktails, Champagnes, and soft beverages on offer.

If you’re planning to celebrate a milestone at the Louis Vuitton café in Paris (birthday, anniversary, engagement, etc.), you can pre-order a six-to-eight person chocolate cake for 120€ (140 USD). Just make sure to call at least 48 hours in advance.

And you’d rather have lunch before indulging in pastries, you can do that too. Caviar waffles, lobster tartlet, and fancy stuffed croissants are all available on the menu. Again, making a reservation is probably a good idea.

Those who want to try out Maxime Frédéric’s Louis Vuitton concoctions but who have a tight schedule, can order some of his gorgeous chocolate creations online and pick them up at any time at the café. The 250€ (295 USD) chocolate egg-shaped bag should be at the top of your list.
