It’s a well-established fact that Paris is always a good idea. Rain, hail, snow, sleet; it’s a city that somehow always finds a way to shine. But lately, we’re finding more and more that not everyone wants to break the bank on a hotel to get their Paris fix. Break the bank at Hermès and Chanel, yes, but maybe not so much on a place to rest your head. So, out of necessity, and to support the French fashion industry, we’ve found a list of boutique hotels in Paris that won’t require a second mortgage. We were pleasantly surprised to find some gems that too are officially on the Paris rotation.

Let’s be honest – there’s no place like Paris. Whether you’re a history buff, a fashionista or you just want to try the best croissants in the world, this city has something just for you. Staying at a boutique hotel can make your time in Paris that much better. Here are the best boutique hotels in Paris that won’t break the bank.

Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal

The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. Aside from the romantic interior, it is within walking distance from the Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, and of course, the Palais Royal. Chef Maxime Raab serves flavorful, nutritious meals in the hotel’s restaurant,  Le Café 52. A luxurious spa, including a jacuzzi, hammam, and fitness area, is also available to you during your stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a unique package inspired by “Emily in Paris”, giving you the chance to tour the locations featured in the show.

The Location: Address: 4 Rue de Valois, 75001 Paris, France

1, Place Vendôme

1, Place Vendôme brings class and elegance to a new level. The interior is sophisticated and regal, just as you’d expect from a hotel owned by luxury jewelry brand Chopard. The hotel’s restaurant operates 24/7, providing constant access to delicious food and fine wine. Aside from all of this, what makes 1, Place Vendôme so unique is the must-see library located inside the hotel.

JK Place

If you’ve ever wished you could be in Italy and France at the same time, JK Place is for you. The hotel brings a slice of Italian culture to Paris. Designed by the renowned Michele Bönan, the hotel is a work of art, inside and out. It’s home to Casa Tua, where you can indulge in some top-notch Italian cuisine before heading to the spa. Facials, massages, and manicures are available to all guests. Lastly, a pool and fitness center for those wanting to break a sweat.

Hôtel Madame Rêve

Located in the Grande Poste de Paris building just a short walk from the Louvre, Hôtel Madame Rêve is known for its breathtaking views of historic Paris. Besides the gorgeous scenery, guests can enjoy two restaurants within the hotel, The Kitchen and La Plume. Classic French cuisine can be found at The Kitchen, whereas Japanese-inspired meals are served at La Plume. Perhaps the most unique part of the hotel is its rooftop bar, fittingly named, ROOF. This is the perfect place to sip a glass of champagne and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle.

Château Voltaire

Château Voltaire is classic yet stylish, with a homey interior. The calming, earthy color scheme sets it apart from the interiors of similar hotels. It is made up of three different 17th and 18th-century buildings. The hotel’s restaurant, Brasserie l’Emil, serves classic French meals prepared with seasonal ingredients and local, handpicked produce. A wellness area is available to all guests, including a water basin and sauna, in addition to in-room treatments.
