We’ve had to bob and weave around what is open, who will be delivering, who has indoor dining, who has outdoor dining and all the last-minute changes of this holiday season, but we’ve gotten through it together. Regardless of how you choose to dine, end it strong by supporting our NYC restaurants. These are the top places for delivery. Happy New Year!
Nami Nori Temake Party
This is our kind of party. Nami Nori is selling kits for takeout or delivery that start at $160 and feed up to four. You choose six of toro, yellowtail, tuna, salmon, scallop, crab, ikura, tobiko, maitake mushroom, squash & green goddess avocado. Then they do their magic on the rest, which include signature house-made sauces – spicy mayo, poke sweet soy, x.o. sauce, (a vinegary korean pepper sauce, nikiri seasoned soy and toppings of cucumber, scallion, shredded daiko diced jalapeño, crispy shallots, micro cilantro, plum sesame seeds and crispy carrots.
Cote
For a cool $216, Cote is doing an ultimate steak feast for 4. Think Korean BBQ delivered, with Prime meats that step up the steak game, complete with two of their stews, scallion salad, and tart piquant pickles and of course the signature kimchi.
Wallse
There’s a reason this restaurant has been around for decades. It’s because the food is damned good. It’s a treat though for everyday, so what better excuse than to splurge for New Year’s Eve? The spatzle, creamed spinach, roasted carrots, mashed potatoes – yes these are all side dishes – are worth it alone to order one of each, and the halibut is a perinnieal standout. Believe us; Wallse is one of NYC’s top places for delivery all year.
L’Avenue at Saks
They had us at Champagne and Caviar Kit, which this New Year’s includes Ruinart Rose, 50 grams of Caviar Oscietre Royal, Couer de Saumon Fume and Pierre Hermé macarons. If you’re feeling really flush, you can opt for their celebration dinner where they throw in some Chilean sea bass, Filet de Boeuf and a Bouche de Noel.
