It’s ironic because we wrote about their house when they bought it last year, and this celeb real estate was just a nascent idea. As many things do come full circle, this week’s Celebrity Real Estate spotlight is on the sale of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s house.

The Price: $65 Million
Finding a new home had been a long time coming for the couple. We and the world thought they found their forever home after two years of hunting when they secured a cash deal for a new mansion in Wallingford Estates. The newly-renovated mansion has mountain views and 17 bedrooms and 35 baths spread over 5 acres. There’s a main house, guesthouse, caretaker’s house and guardhouse, in the massive compound. Essentially it’s everything you would picture for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s house.
The estate was originally listed at $135 million in 2018, but dropped to $75. The couple bought it for $60.8. It has also seen many different tenants over the years, from a Ponzi schemer to a Saudi Prince. The estate has also seen many face lifts, with the biggest renovation including a large addition designed by high-end home designer Gala Asher.
The amenities Asher put in are ultra high-tech. A large sports complex in the house includes a basketball court, boxing ring, and whiskey/sports lounge. Outside, it has a 155 ft infinity pool (reportedly the largest in LA in 2018), entertainment area and outdoor kitchen. There’s also an entire spa (with a nail salon, massage room and hair styling area) a theater, and parking for up to 80 cars. The home has contemporary interiors and 15 different fireplaces. Where it is situated within the gated community of The Wallingford Estates, all homes are famously luxurious. But this one is known as the crown jewel.
