Spicy and Sour Pickles Recipe

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups white wine vinegar

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/4 cups water

2 teaspoons mustard seeds

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced

4 Kirby cucumbers, cut into 1/4-inch thick circles 

1 cup chopped fresh dill

Directions

Add vinegar, water, and sugar to a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Shut off the heat and add mustard seeds, jalapeño pepper, and dill. Place cucumbers in a large glass jar and pour the mixture on top. Seal tightly and refrigerate for three days before serving.
