No matter how much time you have to explore London, Scott’s Mayfair belongs at the top of your list for timeless dining experiences. Now, it’s arriving to New York, as a part of Annabel’s expansion of their private members-only club. Here is everything you need to know about the soon-to-be next hotspot in New York City.

About Scott’s Mayfair

For those who need to catch up, Scott’s Mayfair is the “it” place for a luxury seafood dining experience. What began as an oyster warehouse, soon welcomed politicians, writers and celebrities. This is reportedly where the creator of James Bond discovered the dry martini “shaken, not stirred.” Now it’s know as the famous Scott’s. And, it’s expanding locations and joining forces with the members-only club, Annabel’s. The exclusive Annabel’s is famously known for its modern opulence. Annabel’s creates a warm welcome to the royals, as well as rock stars, who wish to stop by for a late-night drink.

Atmosphere

Scott’s creates a decadent, old-world environment that has aged like fine wine. We can expect a glamourous style from the interior designer, Martin Brudnizki. A combination of eccentric glamour with world-class seafood in the heart of New York’s chic neighborhood is not something to miss. With reported plans to open a rooftop to this multi-level property, luxury will not be whispered but it will be served elegantly on a tray.

Cuisine

Long time head chef, David McCarthy, has been serving classic dishes prepared with fresh ingredients since 2009. We can anticipate the same level of execution done at this up-and-coming location. Signature dishes such as Tempura Fried Oysters, Octopus Carpaccio, and Lobster Thermidor honor traditional English cuisine. However, they also incorporate a European technique. The kitchen keeps the flavors vibrant, polished and never overdone.

When and where?

The new location will be taking over what was originally known as Dos Caminos, at 675 Hudson Street in the Meatpacking District. The opening date has not been confirmed, but it’s estimated that it’ll be sometime in 2027.

Most importantly, the environment sculpted for aristocrats and late-night mystique is finally hitting New York with a legendary palate. It’s exactly what we needed.
