Fouquet's Miami

What started as a brasserie on the Champs-Elysées in 1899 is now an empire. Fouquet’s isn’t just the name of one of France’s most famous restaurants any longer — it’s the hospitality brand behind five luxury hotels, located in the world’s most sought-after locations: Paris, New York City, Courchevel, St. Barths, and Mykonos. And because one Fouquet’s hotel in the US isn’t nearly enough to satisfy our thirst for elegant and exclusive French properties, there’s another one in the works in Miami. Fouquet’s Miami will open in the city’s Design District in 2030 and, if the renderings are anything to go by, it’s going to be the stuff opulent vacations are made of.

A Mix of Residences And Hospitality

Fouquet’s Miami will consist of two towers. One 12-story tower that will comprise 85 rooms and suites, and one 25-story tower where there will be 143 homes and a host of deluxe amenities and services (pools, spa, fitness center, etc.). Those who want a permanent pied-à-terre in Miami will have the choice between one-bedroom and four-bedroom condos. The project won’t be completed before 2030. But, if you want to secure a home for yourself, now is probably a good time to do so.

Both buildings will be designed by none other than Pritzker Prize-winning architect David Chipperfield. He’s the man behind Stockholm’s much-anticipated new Nobel Center. The renderings of Fouquet’s Miami fit the Florida city’s vibe to perfection. It’s all clean, modern lines, an abundance of whites, and even fluted ceramic columns. In short, if you’re looking for something quintessentially French from an architectural standpoint, you won’t find it there. The light-filled and minimalistic interiors will be the work of RDAI, the studio responsible for the design of Hermès stores throughout the world, from Tokyo to Milan.

Other Fouquet’s Properties

All five Fouquet’s properties around the world have adapted their architecture and decor to their location. That means that the only place where you’ll find some traditionally French designs is in Paris.

While we like all five Fouquet’s hotels, we love the Greek iteration. Fouquet’s Mykonos, which opened in July 2026, is everything you’d expect from a property on a Greek island. The decor is pared back and favors natural materials, earthy tones, and the focus is on the Aegean Sea. And because you can stay in one of three villas on site, it’s also a great property for those who require privacy.
