Moët & Chandon recently celebrated its 270th anniversary at Chelsea Piers with tennis champion Roger Federer, who is the Moët & Chandon Global Brand Ambassador. Other guests at the swank affair included Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, who arrived by helicopter (naturally), designer Christian Siriano, and actress Kelly Rutherford.

Galavante chatted for a New York minute with Roger Federer:

Galavante: What fun activities do you do in New York City with your kids?

Roger Federer: There's loads to do. I mean, you could even go outside the city if you'd like, right? There are many quiet spots away from the city. If you stay in the city, clearly the park makes sense, or the zoo, or the museums. And then there are all sorts of classes – gym classes, swimming. We also have lots of friends and family in town, so we like to create that “home away from home” feeling for the girls.

Galavante: After the U.S. Open, where are you headed? Are you taking a vacation?

RF: I’m taking some time off to go to Switzerland. Then, I’ll go to Dubai to prepare, and then to Shanghai, and then I’ll come back to finish the indoor season in Basel, Paris, and London.

Galavante: And those are trips for leisure or for work?

RF: Shanghai, Basel, Paris, and London are all work. The rest is leisure, practice, and sweating in the gym.
