So, for those of you who buy everything from face exfoliators to jade eggs, you’re one step closer to living like Gwyneth. One Night With Gwyneth
For one night and one night only, Goop super fans will finally get the chance to live like Gwyneth. Paltrow’s one-bed-one-bath guest house will soon be on the Airbnb market for a whopping $0. Yes, you read that correctly; Gwyneth Paltrow’s Airbnb is free of charge. That price gets you and up to one other guest a full itinerary, including a meditation session, spa day, and Goop Kitchen-inspired meals and snacks. Both the guest house and your take-home goodie bag will be stocked full of Goop’s best products. We say take anything that isn’t bolted down– this is the time to (respectfully) pillage.
The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is thanks to Airbnb’s new mission “to help make the world feel a little less lonely.” The company is partnering with unexpected hosts to create unique experiences, like staying in an Oscar winner’s guest house, for example. As Paltrow puts it, “increased isolation and our lack of community has made our lives even more fragmented (…) I hope we’ll find connections and commonalities over a delicious meal.”
The Goop Guest House
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Airbnb is as airy and Paltrow-esque as you might expect, with high ceilings, big windows, and plenty of natural light. In a video tour posted to Paltrow’s Instagram, your host promises that with the soaking tub and plethora of Goop goodies, your skin will leave better than when you came before.
While guests won’t have access to the main house, you are welcome to hang out by the pool, walk around the expansive grounds, relax in the spa, and have a group dinner with Gwyneth and her husband in their wine room. She even promises that you’ll get to pick a bottle from her collection to pair with the meal–but no pressure.
The criteria for a night at Gwyneth Paltrow’s Airbnb is surprisingly simple. Like we said, the stay itself is free, although guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Montecito. Other than that, you just have to be fast. The listing goes live on Airbnb on August 15 at 10 a.m. PST– may the fastest bidder win. Once you’re there, you’ll need to follow a few basic rules– no pets, additional guests, or parties, and obviously, no smoking or drugs. This is the Mother of Goop, after all.
