When team members at Chanel, Van Cleef, or Vogue need to relax, who do they turn to? That would be wellness expert Manjit Devgun, who knows how to get the most stressed-out people into a Zen state of mind. And she has a new wellness app. Think of it as your back-pocket key to relaxation. This is the app to add to your phone now.
The Creator
Manjit Devgun worked for Chanel for 12 years as a mind coach before creating her own wellness consultation company Manjit — and the wellness app Manjit to accompany it. Her perspective on wellness is influenced by her long-standing fondness for meditation. She brings a customized experience to every current client, most of whom work in designer fashion. We came across her while at the Hacienda AltaGracia in Costa Rica.
The Wellness App
The app uses visual and audio meditations, along with breathing exercises, as a form of hypnotherapy. Once you or your team subscribe (prices start at 89.99 a year or $14.99 a month), you have access to an abundance of programs. This includes meditations on creativity, energy, self love, and an entire section developed to sleep. It’s no wonder why big-company CEOs have Manjit’s app on their phones. Each video meditation has specialized music with frequencies that promote thought clarity. These five-to-ten-minute exercises are a compressed version of Manjit’s one-on-one personalized meetings with clients, and often involve sound therapy. The wellness app is a way to bring the eight-week program along with you no matter where you are.
