Vacation Like Tom Brady

tom-brady-feature

It doesn’t matter whether or not Tom Brady is in the Super Bowl. This guy is the GOAT and no Super Bowl issue is complete without at least a mention of him. Especially this week, when it’s official. Tom Brady is retiring. This means he’ll have more time to vacation of course, his equally impressive other half, Gisele. These are places where you, too, can vacation like a seven-time Super Bowl winner and a supermodel. Because Tom – this one’s for you.

The Destination: David Sheldrick Eco Lodges, Nairobi

If he isn’t relaxing at Gisele’s home in Costa Rica, he’s definitely not staying at just any old hotel. Nor is he just chilling at home. The seasoned footballer is known for taking his fam on some wild Tom Brady vacations in Kenya, Cuba, and Brazil.

If you can, you’re going to want to teach your kids about the wonders of the world while on vacation. The Brady Bunch enjoys relaxing in places where they can learn about different cultures just as much as they can enjoy some warm weather and sunshine. At the David Sheldrick wildlife sanctuary in Nairobi, Kenya, the clan had a chance to bottle feed elephants and go on some incredible safaris.

Everyone should experience sleeping in an eco lodge. There is no experience quite like it, and you’re definitely sure to feel like a real explorer. Though the lodges promote near total indoor-outdoor living, luxury means something else in the wildlife sanctuary where you’ll experience unparalleled views of the stars at night, and daily interactions with elephants.

The Destination: Havana, Cuba

It’s no secret that if you’re invited to the Met Gala, you go. That is unless you are Tom Brady, AKA too cool. In 2017, Tom and Gisele skipped the famous regalia for a Chanel event in Cuba where they extended their stay for a Tom Brady vacation to see the sights. While Gisele was working it in her supermodel duties a few days ahead of the show, Tom arrived on the first cruise to dock in Havana in more than 50 years.

The couple soaked in all of the sights, and rode around on a moped while Gisele posted instagram pictures of themselves posing in front of old cars and palm trees. For secrecy it seems they didn’t reveal where they stayed, but a safe guess could be the ever luxurious Hotel Kempinski collection Gran Hotel Manzana. Or if it were up to us, we would put them up at the Paseo 206. It’s one of the few places in Cuba where you can sleep on Frette sheets and the baths have Hermes products.

The Destination: Rio, Brazil

It’s no surprise that the Bundchen-Bradys head to Brazil with their family. After all for Gisele, (who is Brazilian) Rio is her old stomping grounds. And yet, that doesn’t stop her from being a tourist in her own city, especially when she has Tom and the kids in tow. And when she goes home, she goes big, too. The couple love to celebrate Carnival in the city that does it best. Despite their careers and kids, the couple can’t get enough of a good party.

The Copacabana Palace in Rio is right on the beach and has some of the best parties in Rio. It’s by far the most luxurious resort in the entire city, and you know it’s good because it’s part of Belmond. The Copacabana Palace is a celebrity magnet, for many other notables who come for the music, dancing, and drinks.
