As if you needed another reason to head to the private island of Mustique, now they’re offering you a chance to play like Nadal. Ok, maybe that’s an over-exaggeration, but they are hosting a tennis camp for adults. So, add this to reason number one million and one to add Mustique to the list.
Tennis is a lifetime sport, which we can attest becomes ten times more compelling when you play it on a court situated on a secluded island in the Caribbean. Mustique, a private island in the Grenadines west of Barbados, is officially declaring that summer camp is not just for kids. They’re adding a tennis program to the mix. If you don’t know Mustique yet, this is your chance to add a favorite to your Caribbean list. Mustique is where you go when you want to escape paparazzi (we know, they hound us too) or just be in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Whether you spend time solo, with your significant other, or take part in social activities on the isle, Mustique has a little something for everyone. Now, that includes tennis fans who want to up their game.
Details
The Mustique Tennis Club organizes a Tennis Camp from April to June on the island. All guests at the island are welcome, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or professional. The camp is organized for four different weeks and costs around $1500 per week. You get to play tennis for 5 hours every day. To book a spot, email us at [email protected]. We will not only hook you up with a tennis camp but with a fat villa.
One of Many Reasons to be on Mustique
Even if you are not such a tennis aficionado, Mustique itself is a good enough reason to be there. The island is completely private and is a natural haven. The Cotton House, the only hotel on the island is a combination of luxury and comfort. It has a variety of suites which include a private two-bedroom and cottages with views of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. Plus there are 82 villas nestled on various parts of the island to go incognito with your significant other. You can get an idea of their exclusivity by the fact that some of these belong to the likes of Mick Jagger and Tommy Hilfiger.
One can never get enough of blue seas and golden sunsets but there’s no harm in adding some martinis and music to it. So once you’re done with your tennis practice, you can head out to Basil’s Bar. The Bar is famous for its musical evenings. Live music, sometimes Blues and Jazz bands, makes the place ideal for sundowners. Sum up all of these experiences and Mustique becomes the ideal summer destination.
