The Waverly Inn decor makes it feel like a trendy private club. The dining room is decked in dark wood with dimly lit red banquettes and old-school pictorial artwork on the walls. There are roaring fires in red brick fireplaces. It all combines to create a cozy yet elegant old world charm. Expect packed tables every night. The coziest tables are by the fireplace in the back of the restaurant.

The iconic chicken pot pie is a speciality here and is rightly one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The roasted Amish chicken served with black trumpet mushrooms is also delicious.
Seafood options include sea scallops and Truffle celery root puree cooked in a iron skillet or tasty Baltimore crab cakes. When we dine here, we can’t pass up an iceberg wedge side salad served with bacon and cherry tomatoes. No one really does a proper buttermilk and blue cheese dressing nowadays except for Waverly Inn. The menu also includes classic comfort food such as macaroni cheese but don’t dismiss this make at home dish. This mac and cheese will be the best you’ve ever had.
Leave room for one of the desserts such as triple chocolate Pot de Crème served with violet candy. Additionally, there is a good cocktail menu as well as an extensive whisky choice for an after dinner night camp.
