It’s a fairly large-scale hotel, with 180 guest rooms designed and curated by award-winning production designer Catherine Martin. The art is a major focus on the hotel; just about every celebrity has taken a photo in front of Hirst’s “Gone But Not Forgotten” woolly mammoth sculpture in the garden.
Amenities
As expected from a hotel this chic, they have a 22,000-square-foot spa, yoga and meditation classes, and three gourmet restaurants. Los Fuegos features the art of open-fire cooking by Francis Mallman, Pao explores Filipino-inspired cuisine by Paul Qui, and the tropical Veranda is worth dining at for the ocean views alone. Nighttime is a chilled-out scene with live music in The Living Room, for when you’re not out clubbing all evening.
