Six Senses Zil Pasyon is a hotel with a mission. First, they want you to have the time of your life. From the moment you helicopter in from the main island of Mahe to the private island of Felicite, you know you are in for something special. The service is most notable of the many virtues of the Six Senses experience. Six Senses Zil Pasyon is one of the top hotels in the Seychelles that gives you a modern luxury experience. Yes, you have a private butler, but they’re named your GEM, which stands for Guest Experience Manager. In lieu of bow ties and white gloves, the GEMS are energetic guides, who are text message away for anything from off-island field trips, dining reservations and spa appointments.

A Spa to Remember

Speaking of the spa, the Six Senses has the top spa, of the top hotels in the Seychelles. They have an entire complex that’s built into the natural massive rocks of the island, which is an architectural feat in itself. Signature to the Six Senses are the more than skin-deep wellness assessements, that can put you on the right path to your most healthy self. The overall theme of the Six Senses is wellness and health, which comes through in the entire experience while understanding you are on vacation. The dining is arguably the top food, of the top hotels in the Seychelles, that even the indulgent food is healthy.

Second on the mission of the Six Senses is conservation and respect for the land. In addition to letting you relax and unwind in paradise, Six Senses has a goal to bring wildlife back to the island. You can connect with nature through activities like guided hikes, kayaking and swimming with turtles. You will also witness the resort’s forest restoration progress, and enjoy beautiful scenery as a result. Sustainability is also a pillar of the Six Senses experience. During your stay, you’ll dine on food that was grown in the resort’s own garden.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

The Four Seasons Seychelles on the main island of  Mahé is one of the top hotels in the Seychelles for families with children of all ages. Logistically, it’s easy as you don’t have to take a boat or helicopter, as it’s a relatively quick twenty minute or so ride from the airport. The Kids for All Seasons club also isn’t relegated either to a hidden part of the resort. Instead, the family pool and club house are central to the experience, and of course it’s all complimentary. Kids get a sense of place though, beyond just being at a beach, as they learn about the oceans and wildlife. Speaking of beach, the property is right on its own private slice of beach to catch the sunset. It’s set on an inlet so the waters are usually calm for swimming, or learning to swim, as well.

Of all the top hotels in the Seychelles, the Four Seasons is the most traditional full-service resort. There are multiple dining options of all different types of cuisine, from local creole, to steak, to seafood and sushi. The Four Seasons Seychelles also offers activities like scuba diving, fishing, and surfing.

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island

If you’re planning a honeymoon this year and want the creature comforts of a top Four Seasons, the Desroches hotel is for you. As one of the most romantic of the top hotels in the Seychelles. First you arrive by helicopter, which always get the sense of adventure going. The island of Desrochees itself  is a remote, unspoiled complete paradise.

Of course the Four Seasons Desroches has honeymoon activities like sunrise and sunset yoga, cooking classes, and a stargazing experience. Of course there’s a spa day to be had, and top elegant dining on the island. During your stay, you’ll have many opportunities to connect with nature. Try taking the nature cycling expedition or head over to the tortoise sanctuary, if you’re in the mood to learn something new.

North Island, A Luxury Collection Resort- North Island

If you want to follow in the footsteps of William and Kate or George and Amal, you may find yourself staying at North Island. North Island is in one of the most remote parts of the Seychelles on the private island of North Island. Of the top hotels in the Seychelles, the most private. The island has only eleven villas that are all massive stand-alone homes around 4000 square feet. Essentially you have your own beach house when you opt in for North Island. For those who really want privacy, there’s the 8000 square foot Presidential Villa 11, located on a granite cliff. Either way, expect to get quality 1:1 time with your travel companion.

Each morning, the island’s conservationists embark on their “turtle patrol”, watching and tagging the island’s turtles. Guests are invited to join in on this unique experience. Or you can just completely decompress in you own private Seychelles; no shoes required.
