Regina and Christine are back, and they’re talking about the most important topic of the day. Where can you still go this July? Yes, you had the best of intentions of getting yourselves sorted for summer, but alas, you didn’t pull the trigger. Well, you still have time now, and Regina and Christine know where to travel this July. And it’s guaranteed that all three destinations will surprise you.
The World is a Big, Beautiful Place
The View Comedian Regina DeCicco and travel expert Christine Drinan are back, and they’re going to save your summer. At this point, you’re shut out of Amalfi, and it’s going to be tough to get on Leo’s boat. And your Ace of Spades Champagne invitation to Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party somehow got lost in the mail. So where can you still go this summer? Well, Christine and Regina have the places for you, and they surprisingly won’t break the bank. They will though deliver to make this your best summer yet.
Places to Be:
Portugal
Lisbon and the Northwest coast of the country are abound with completely unspoiled beaches, culture and top food. Portugal is one of those unique European countries that’s not quite yet discovered, but as easy and compelling as its neighbor in Spain. Christine talks too about an area in Portugal that’s an inside celebrity destination. It’s the Hamptons of Portugal in fact, but completely undiscovered.
Copenhagen and Scandinavia
Let’s face it; not everyone loves the heat, and not everyone loves the beach. For when you want to still enjoy coastal views and get on the water, Scandinavia may just be for you. Copenhagen is a city destination where you can eat for days, take in a unique culture and just chill out for days on end. There’s art, shopping, and did we mention the food? Noma, consistently one of the best restaurants in the world, will close its doors soon. So the time is now to head to Copenhagen.
Slovenia
Sometimes, you have to follow the food. You may not instinctively think of Slovenia as a top summer destination, but it’s one of the best restaurant scenes in Europe right now. Think of it as San Sebastian twenty years ago, before it became synonymous with Michelin stars. There’s even more thought in Slovenia, with towns that look like they’re right out of a fairytale, mountains and churches right in the middle of a majestic lake. So Slovenia – it’s where to travel this July.
You’ll have to listen in for why these are the places to be this summer.
