The Galavante in The World Foundation (GITW) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to humanitarian, women’s rights and educational projects both in the U.S. and around the world. Currently we have over a dozen Afghan women and families who we support in their efforts to continue their studies and immigrate to the United States, Europe and Canada. We are proud to report that 100% of funds raised to date have gone directly to those we sponsor.
Our Inaugural Summer Event
To date, our generous donors have supported our students and their families. We have funded critical evacuation expenses, passports, visas, basic living expenses and scholarships. GITW’s first fundraising event will be held on July 19, 2023 at Aman New York. We will be raising funds for our student, Sara Hakimi, who is at Georgetown University pursuing her Masters in Security and Diplomacy. Our Silent Auction proceeds will go 100% directly to the individuals we support at GITW and towards their education.
