This is the celebrity wedding we didn’t realize how much we needed in our lives until it happened. Over the last weekend of June 2024, Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey wed in Rhode Island, in one of the most elegant affairs we’ve seen in awhile. The setting was at the historic Ocean House in Rhode Island. It was Americana, with an ode to Italy, at its very best. The Hotel
The Ocean House is an historic inn set on a bluff that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel opened just after the Civil War in 1868, and is where American aristocrats would summer. Not much has changed today as far as the high brow crowd, so for Olivia Culpo’s wedding, it was the perfect setting. Their friends from all over the world jetted in, including a certain Greek prince who came on the arm of friend Brooks Nader.
The Setting
The Ocean House transformed into the center of all the events of Olivia Culpo’s wedding except for the wedding ceremony itself. For the I do’s, Olivia and Christian exchanged vows at the Watch Hill Chapel. Otherwise the intimate family welcome, rehearsal dinner, reception and even the afterparty, all happened at the Ocean House. Whether it was the veranda for cocktails, the garden for dinner or the lawn for the reception, every part of the Ocean House was transformed. No two events were alike, but rather switched up with flowers, furniture and unique settings by wedding planner Lisa Vorce.
