Celebs Who Live in Nashville

It’s been a long time coming, but Nashville is firmly on the travel destination map in the United States. Celebs though have known this all along, where it naturally started as a hub for those on the country music scene. On the early adopter side, the celebs who live in Nashville included Taylor Swift. Now, of course, we have to categorize celebs who live in Nashville as those who have a home there. As we know, celebs have homes all over the world, and between movie sets, events, and concert tours, they kind of live all over the place. These are the celebs who live in Nashville, along with our favorites list of where to stay in Nashville and where to eat in Nashville. So, just think of this as the article that’s all good things in Nashville.

Keith Urban + Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have homes all over the world, from their native Australia, to LA, to New York. But they are also part of the celebs who live in Nashville club, and you can say that they are one of the originals. Or at least Keith is, as he counted Nashville home far before he married Nicole. For a super star couple, Keith and Nicole are down-to-earth, so it’s no surprise they spend most of their time in Nashville with their family.

Keith and Nicole keep it simple when they’re in Nashville. They eat at down-to-earth restaurants like J. Alexander’s and the Pancake Pantry, where Keith likes the pancakes.

Dolly Parton

Just call Dolly the OG, as far as celebs who live in Nashville go. In fact, she’s just the GOAT of all human beings. Not only is she a talented singer and songwriter, but if you remember, she personally donated over $1 million to COVID vaccine research. We’re not the only ones who think so too though; Jeff Bezos recently awarded her $100 mil for being such an incredible person.

Where to see Dolly Parton in Nashville:

We’re not the only ones who are fans of Dolly Parton. The question should actually be who isn’t a fan of Dolly? The Graduate Hotel in Nashville has a whole rooftop bar, the White Limozeen, dedicated to all things Dolly Parton. It’s a sea of pink in every hue, including a round pink velvet bed. If you didn’t know better, you may think it’s Barbie-themed. However, if you want to see Dolly herself, she’s a fan of the Loveless Cafe.

Tim McGraw + Faith Hill

These two make us believe in love again. With 27 years of marriage under their belt, these two are relationship goals. While they do have properties around the U.S., maybe it’s because they’ve based in Nashville they’ve kept perspective on what’s important. Up until recently, (as in 5 years) after all, Nashville was still country living. Whatever they’re doing, we’ll have what Tim and Faith are having.

Where to see Tim McGraw & Faith Hill in Nashville:

When you live in a 22,000+ square foot home, you don’t ever really have to leave. But music is in their veins, so Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have, of course, been to The Bluebird Cafe. Pretty much anyone who wants to listen to real country music has passed through the doors of this iconic music venue.

Carrie Underwood

Sometimes Simon Cowell can predict the future. When Carrie Underwood first came onto the country scene on American Idol, Cowell predicted that she would be the most successful Idol of all time. Well, he was right. Carrie Underwood is one of the celebs who live in Nashville, who make it their primary home. In fact, it’s reported that Carrie lives on 400+ acres of land outside of town with her family.

You can see Carrie, and if you’re lucky see her do an impromptu performance at Fox & Locke. Otherwise, you can sometimes spot her at Ivey Cake.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese is originally from Nashville, where her Mom still resides. In lieu of staying at the parents’ house though, Reese had several homes in Nashville, one of which recently sold. Like some of the other celebs who live in Nashville, Reese isn’t a full-time resident, but she’s never forgotten her roots.

There’s a good chance you’ll run into Reese at her store Draper James and at her favorite coffee shop Barista Parlor.

Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake + Jessica Biel

Like Reese Witherspoon, Justin Timberlake is a Tennessee native. So it’s no surprise that Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel are amongst the celebs who live in Nashville. This may not be for too long though, as apparently the Timberlakes have listed their 127+ acre home as of this past August 2023. It wouldn’t surprise us though if they purchased another home to keep a connection to Tennessee.

Justin Timberlake’s restaurants have spanned across the country so, of course, he has a restaurant in Nashville. The Twelve Thirty Club is a swanky New York-style restaurant, designed by New York firm AvroKO designs. The multi-level spot has live music, a bar, and a full-service restaurant, run by a James Beard alumni.

Celeb Taylor Swift Web

Taylor Swift

We know it’s hard to think back, but when Taylor first started, she was a country singer. So it’s no surprise that Taylor is one of the celebs who live in Nashville. There was a time too, before her famous Fourth of July parties in Rhode Island and sightings at her Tribeca compound in NYC, that she was full-time in Nashville. In fact, during the pandemic, she spent a lot of time in her Nashville home. We don’t know how Taylor does it, but she always seems to keep it all in check.
