YOUR INSPIRATION TO EXPLORE THE WORLD

Ubah Hassan, New York Housewife Talks Hot Sauce

At Home with Galavante brings the world to you through food and drink. On this week’s episode, Supermodel Ubah Hassan, New York Housewife cast member, shares her secret recipe for her famous hot sauce, Ubah Hot. Ubah Hot is inspired by Ubah’s experiences as a model starting out in New York City, over 15 years ago. Her beginnings as a model helped Ubah Hassan navigate her evolution to become a humanitarian, entrepreneur and now her role as a New York housewife cast member. She’s still the same humble yet force of nature though that she always has been. Ubah shares her story and more.

A Preview

When Ubah first started out as a model in NYC, she lived in the model’s apartment. Yes, there really is such a place that most men would find heaven on earth. Models, as you know have to maintain their weight, and Ubah’s agent told her to get on the quinoa and vegetable diet. Actually the agent told her to stop cooking for all the other girls too, as Ubah made the best lasagna. So Ubah did what she knew best, and that’s to add some spice to the situation. In this case, it was hot sauce, that she reminded her of Africa. Soon all her friends could not get enough of Ubah’s hot sauce, and Ubah Hot became an idea. This is the story before Ubah Hassan joined the New York Housewife cast.
