The Travel Show TV Needs

Celebs.  Luxury Hotels.  Food.  Culture.
Making a difference.
Welcome to our travel show, The 195.

When we started Galavante almost 10 years ago, let’s face it, it was a long shot. Most businesses don’t make it past year one. Beyond that, most businesses don’t make it past year five. Add in a global pandemic that directly impacts travel, and the possibility of success is even more remote. But yet here we are, stronger than ever. And now, we’re creating our travel show, soon to be on a nationally recognized TV network and streaming services, near you. If there’s one thing we’ve learned at Galavante, something may be a long shot, but that’s our specialty.

THE 195

The 195 represents all 195 countries in the world. As some of you may know, Founder Christine Drinan is on her way to all of them. When completed, she will be one of less than 30 people out of our 7.1 billion in the world, to reach all countries. Along the way, she’s contributing to the world, one child, one mentee, one NGO, one country, at a time. The adventures ARE so surreal, they have to be shared, on film. That’s how the travel show idea came to life.

THE TRAVEL SHOW

Enter Traveling The 195. On our show, Christine will take one of her celebrity friends on a journey that will change their lives. She will be in Rwanda with a surprise celebrity guest, to show her the best of this extraordinary country. Expect posh places to stay. Expect them to cook up a storm and learn about local food. And expect unique experiences, like gorilla trekking and meeting with government officials to learn about the fascinating country. They will also give back to the community through a UN-sponsored project. Because they’re in it to change lives.

MAKING CHANGE HAPPEN

We’re mentoring a future female president of Afghanistan. That is not a typo missed by our fastidious editor; in our work in Afghanistan, we’ve met a group of women at the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul and know 100% in our hearts that at least one of them is a future president. In a country where only 6% of females have any education at all, this seemingly impossible feat is what we are here to make happen. Yes, there will be some food along the way (and you know how much we love to eat), but our show is about making real, quantifiable change in the world, and to introduce you to people who linger in the attic of your mind forever.

BE PART OF THE 195

We need your help to get this off the ground. There will be IMDB credits, producer credits, dinners and special thanks for being part of The 195. Message us at [email protected] to learn more.
