Nobody deserves luxurious spa treatments more than new moms. They’ve spent nine months creating a brand-new human being. They are responsible for keeping their little one safe and happy, every hour of every day. And all of this on very little sleep and with massive hormonal changes. Dior knows it. That’s why the Dior spa at the five-star Parisian palace hotel Cheval Blanc has created Haute Motherhood. This is an opulent wellbeing program designed to support women after childbirth. But Dior is going one step further. It also offers Baby Dior, i.e spa treatments for children as young as three months old. That way, both mom and baby can revel in the joy of being pampered when they need it most.
Haute Motherhood
Haute Motherhood is a post-natal program that comprises seven treatments: six for mom, and one for baby.
The six treatments include a variety of massages from various wellness traditions, to soothe the body and the mind. There is also a pilates class to regain mobility, balance, and strength, a microdermabrasion facial to look rejuvenated, and a treatment to help sculpt the body after pregnancy.
The Rebozo massage (also known as a woven shawl massage) is one the most unique treatments on offer. This traditional Mexican massage, performed by two wellness experts, is very gentle, and is meant to provide emotional and physical support.
The treatments, only available to moms who are at least three months postpartum, can be booked individually over the space of several weeks or months. Moms who partake in the program also have access to the sauna, steam room and snow shower within the Cheval Blanc Paris Dior spa.
You can purchase the Haute Motherhood program its entirety for €2,900 ($3,310), or book one of the treatments à la carte. They vary in price between €150 ($170) and €850 ($970). You can also gift the program in the form of a voucher to be used within one year.
Baby Dior Treatments
Baby Dior treatments are available at the Dior spa within Cheval Blanc Paris for children between the ages of three months and 18. But because babies and teenagers don’t have the same needs, there are three different treatments. There is one for children between the ages of three months and four years old (€190, $215); one for children between four and 10 years old (€180, $205); and one for tweens and teenagers between 10 and 18 (€220, $250).
All three treatments are gentle and focus on movements, as well as face and body massages to promote relaxation. They vary between 45 minutes and one hour and all take place within a soothing environment specifically meant for children.
The Baby Dior treatment for children between the ages of three months and four years is also an opportunity for parents to learn how to massage their little ones. It is included in the aforementioned Haute Motherhood program.
Parents need to be present for all Baby Dior treatments. Of course, we highly recommend that moms ask their significant others to take that on while they relax elsewhere in the spa.
