For a lot of us too, it’s travel inspiration for December and beyond. Because you know that these celebs aren’t roughing it and you need a new list of hotels to aspire to, these are the places where celebs spend the holidays.

The Destination: Aspen

The 12 days of Christmas have been dubbed the 12 days of Aspen. Aspen draws some of the most high profile celebs during Christmas time because there is nothing going on in the town that you can’t Instagram. With a round-the-clock schedule of Aprés themed dancing, dining, and drinking during the last 12 days of December, you can’t go wrong. Of course, family-friendly options like cookie and ornament decorating, and holiday markets make it the perfect place to bring the kiddos. As the holiday period also coincides with peak snow season, the mountains see the best skiing and snow activities. At the end of the day though, Aspen is an authentic Colorado town, with lots of charm and top restaurants. It will always be a top spot where celebs spend the holidays.

The Little Nell is a celeb favorite for numerous reasons. Not only has every inch been designed to look like it came out of a Hallmark card, but it’s also the epitome of luxury. The lobby is a pseudo red carpet, where famous guests have been photod relaxing after a day on the slopes, and cozying up for a drink by the fire.
