Some cities are effortlessly cool. In fact, just breathing the air there ups your cool kid quotient. To that, we say “Hallo Berlin.” Because they’ve got art. They’ve got top restaurants. And they’ve got Prince Charles, (the club, not the King). These are the top places to stay for your Berlin weekend.

When it comes to Germany the city that everyone’s talking about is Berlin. Whether you come for the art scene, the gastronomical explosion, or even the wild nightlife, Berlin is the place to be. But, if you’re coming you’ll need the perfect place to stay, one that exudes stylishness and conveys that you’re in the know. Here’s our list of luxury hotels that aren’t just chic, but also an experience worth traveling for.

A Beacon of Culture

Berlin has always been one of the coolest cities in Europe. It has a rich history and cultural significance for its part in World War Two and its aftermath. But out of this devastation came an influence of cultures, a thriving underground scene, and the making of a city like no other. Over the past fifty years Berlin has become famous for attracting rock stars like David Bowie and Iggy Pop, but also creating its own vibrant art scene and gastronomy. Today, when people visit Berlin their days are filled with visits to historical landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Tempelhofer Field. Or passing through the many different neighborhoods from Prenzlauer Berg to Kreuzberg, enjoying the shopping, restaurants, and scenic boulevards. Then, during the night it’s all about partying till the dawn at exclusive clubs like Berghain or the many packed bars that never close.

So whatever you come to Berlin for, you know there won’t be a shortage of things to do, places to eat at, and art to see. This is what makes the city what it is.
