There’s something about all that’s going on in the world today that makes you wish for simpler times. You know, when the tooth fairy came to visit, or the Easter Bunny gave you an excuse to eat candy. Well, even if you’re an adult, candy is back, and then some. Maybe you didn’t think you cared for sweets, but we’re pretty sure you’ll find these irresistible.
Sugarfina
Locations: NYC, California, and Boston
The best Easter candy isn’t just for the kids. When Josh Resnick and Rosie O’Neill founded Sugarfina in 2012, the couple wanted to bring the luxury candy they had been doing during their world travels to others. Sugarfina stands for luxury candy for adults. Some of its adult specialty gummies are the Rosé All Day Bears, Champagne Bears, and Tequila Grapefruit Sours. There are also kosher and vegan candy options. These assortments are usually sold in Sugarfina’s recognizable Candy Cube shape, or you can pick out individual candies and place them in Bento boxes. For a more Easter-themed choice, the popular Robin’s egg is made even better by Sugarfina’s Golden Truffle addition.
Dylan’s Candy Bar
Locations: New York, and California
Dylan Lauren is CEO of Dylan’s Candy bar, which prides itself on the being “the world’s largest candy lifestyle emporium.” Lauren is also the daughter of Ralph Lauren, so she just may have that entrepreneur gene that can make a an idea or product really special and high quality. Dylan’s Candy Bar was one of the first luxury candy brands, one that you can afford to splurge on once in a while. The brand’s passion for Easter, and candy in general, is evident from the presentation. The store is known for its florescent worms and it’s various pails. This year its signature Easter pail can be filled with all the classics — or you can go with a newer Gummy Kebob.
Lolli & Pops

Despite the name, Lolli & Pops does so much more than lollipops. Its Tiffany-colored decor is something sweet for the eyes, but if you can’t experience it in person, L&P does ship all around the U. S. Its comprehensive selection of high-quality sweets span from homemade chocolate truffles to candy and gummies. Specialties like Vanilla Bean Marshmallows and Key Lime Margarita cotton candy are a delight for both kids and adults. Picking out the best Easter candy out is made even easier with the prefilled Easter gift boxes the stores have in stock. Also, there’s an abundance of bunny-themed lollipops.
La Maison du Chocolat
Locations: Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong
What’s better than European chocolate? That would be Parisian chocolat. Founded in Paris, La Maison du Chocolat’s artisanal chocolate is handmade in Nanterre, France, since 1977. What makes La Maison du Chocolat special is the brand’s attention to every detail. This is even evident in its commitment to sustainability; LMdC uses local producers of cocoa beans. Fruit pulp truffles and the signature Praline chocolates are favorites. This year’s best Easter egg is the Artistic Piece Milk Cracking Chick. This handcrafted creation is essentially a candy chick bursting from a chocolate egg. It’s almost a shame to eat it.
Candy People
Locations: Online and in stores in the U.S. and Canada
Founded in Malmö, Sweden in 1982, Candy People has been producing mouthwatering delectables for the last 38 years. After a couple of Sweden-based stores succeeded, Candy People moved to wholesale. Its products can now be found around the world. They may be the rare Easter candy that’s actually healthy for you, if there is such a thing. The sugar-free candies and the Vegobears have become staples of the brand. Both of these are non GMO. Featured flavors include Malibu Foam and Venice Beach sour.
