Taylor Swift in Kansas City

Joelle Mentis, Staff Writer

After a record-breaking summer and eight sold-out concerts at Wembly, Taylor Swift is officially done with the European leg of her Eras tour. And well, it’s the end of an Era, and the beginning of a new one, with Taylor Swift possibly moving to Kansas City. At least, that is, for the time that she has off until she begins her Eras Tour performances in Miami in October again. After all, if we’re going to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged, the next step is to live together. So as the song goes, Karma is Taylor Swift in Kansas City, coming home to Travis Kelce. And you know these two won’t go into hiding either. These are the places you’ll probably see Taylor Swift in Kansas City this next few months.

Prime Social

Early on in the days when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating, they were seen at Prime Social. After one of the Chiefs’ games, Travis rented out the rooftop spot for teammates and family. The most notable guest though weren’t the athletes, but rather his new girlfriend Taylor Swift. In the privacy of their party, Taylor and Travis noshed on everything from sushi to pizzas, the specialties of Prime Social. That is, of course, besides the cocktails and view of Kansas City.

Piropos

For a romantic dinner a deux without entourage, Piropos is a favorite of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in Kansas City. An Argentinian restaurant, they stick to the theme with simple steaks, empanadas and salads. Of course for dessert there’s dulce de leche drizzled on the churros.

Rye Leawood

Very early on, Taylor Swift genuinely ingratiated herself with Travis Kelce’s family and friends. That meant hanging with the wives and girlfriends of Travis Kelce’s teammates, including new friend Brittany Mahomes. Taylor is building a life for herself in Kansas City, where she had a girl’s night out at Rye. Rye is a down-home Southern-cooking restaurant, known for its fried chicken and steak. With Taylor living in Kansas City this September, she’s sure to be back with friends.

1587 Prime

It’s not open yet, but it’s a certainty that this will be Taylor Swift’s go-to restaurant in Kansas City. That’s because it’s a venture that include Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. They know the restaurant scene in Kansas City, and that there’s a need for a New York-level steakhouse scene. From the looks of it, 1587 Prime will be the hot spot when it opens in 2025.

Kansas City Chiefs Home Games

If there’s one certainty of where you’ll see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in Kansas City, it’s at Arrowhead Stadium. This of course is where Travis Kelce does his day job, as tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs. They have home games on September 5 and 15th, which are when Taylor Swift has time off from her Eras tour. You know you’ll see her cheering on her guy, just like he cheered her on in Europe. Sounds like a winning team already.
