Theme: Dead Sea Cuisine
As the holiday season approaches, we make sure to take care of ourselves by indulging in activities that promote wellness. We draw inspiration from the Dead Sea, known for its therapeutic properties, and focus on exercising, practicing yoga, taking extra care of our skin, and maintaining a healthy diet to prepare ourselves for the upcoming festivities. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, we have managed to shed a few pounds and are ready to enjoy the celebrations without any guilt fully.
During our interview with Mzia Shiman, a renowned aesthetician, we discovered that she is not only skilled in her profession but also has a passion for cooking. She generously shared with us her recipe for Sautéed Baby Broccoli, which is both delicious and nutritious. This dish is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a healthy yet satisfying meal. Here is how to prepare it:
Sautéed Baby Broccoli Recipe
Sautéed baby broccoli is a quick and delicious side dish. The tender and vibrant greens are lightly cooked in a pan, preserving their crispness and natural flavors. Enjoy this simple and nutritious addition to your meal.
Ingredients:
2 bunches of baby broccoli
1½ cloves garlic
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. fleur de sel
Pepper to taste
Directions:
To prepare the baby broccoli side dish, begin by heating the olive oil and garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once it is hot, add the baby broccoli and fleur de sel. Sauté the veggies, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, for around 5-6 minutes until they are soft but still have a slight crunch. It is best to prepare this dish simultaneously with the lamb chops so that both can be served hot and fresh.
