Ingredients
2 cups long-grain rice
4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
2 cups coconut milk
Sliced banana for garnish
Ground cinnamon for garnish
Procedure
To prepare the rice dish, add rice, water, and salt to a medium saucepan. Bring it to a boil and then cover it while reducing the heat. Cook the rice for approximately 10 minutes until it is soft and the water is absorbed. After the rice is cooked, stir in the coconut milk on low heat. Continue to simmer until the rice begins to break down and the coconut milk is absorbed. To serve, add sliced banana and sprinkle cinnamon on top and serve it warm.
