Comfort Food Recipes – Brandade

If you haven’t heard of Brandade, you’re not alone. It’s rare to find this French dish, which originated in Marseille when the sailors needed a way to spruce up their salted cod, which was a way to preserve fish for their long voyages. So in the French way, they added cream and butter, which is the foundation of French cooking. Fast forward to today, our recipe uses fresh cod steamed in oat milk and is dairy free. The richness comes from a hint of olive oil and adding some special spices to the oat milk and roasted garlic to amp up the flavor. This is guaranteed to be a brand new comfort food staple.
