To become a top toque, it doesn’t hurt to learn from the best of them. Lucky for you, they’re coming together to teach the art of sustainable fish, the nuances of Austrian food (the unsung hero of cuisine), fine French techniques and everything in between to impress at your next dinner party.
The event? The NY Culinary Experience, where thirty of the elite of the culinary food chain in New York are gathering this April 11-12th for a cooking class immersion. Of course you’re going to learn to make bread from Kamel Saci of Il Buco, tapas from Ken Oringer from Toro, and French from David Bouley himself. With over 30 classes, it’s a food extravaganza from morning until your evening cocktail reception. Hosted by New York Mag and the International Culinary Center, the New York Culinary Experience is itself the top toque of annual foodie experiences in the city. A few tickets remain at a cool $1675 and change at [email protected].
