Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino

Summer is right around the corner, or at least that’s the excuse to get yourself on a plane to Greece. There’s something about the pace of life in the less traveled coast of Greece that immediately disconnects you from the world. And now, the Mandarin Oriental Greece has arrived. This is the first look at the Costa Navarino.

The Mandarin Oriental + Greece

Mandarin Oriental is finally coming to Greece, and they couldn’t have picked a better time. Opening this summer, their new property will be located in Costa Navarino. Sprawled along the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, the Mandarin Oriental Greece will bring a new level of luxury resort to the region. Guests can enjoy the unspoiled landscape along the sea while indulging in Mandarin Oriental’s renowned service. They are now accepting reservations starting from August 15th. So here’s what you need to know about Mandarin Oriental’s Costa Navarino

The suites and villas have interiors designed to fit the mood and aesthetic of the landscape. They feature an earth toned palette with spots of color within the wooden decor and off white walls. These have a rustic minimalism that matches the atmosphere yet doesn’t shy away from luxury. You can pick accommodations with floor to ceiling windows, walk in closets, and stunning views of Navarino Bay. In addition, the larger suites and villas come with outdoor seating and their own private pool. The Mandarin Oriental Greece has also added unique touches like having Nespresso machines, Japanese toilets, and plastic free bathroom amenities.

Like the accommodations, the design of the Mandarin Oriental Greece’s seven restaurants has an alluring style. Each dining experience is creative in its own way, making up an eclectic variety of cuisines. Oliviera is their Greek restaurant serving authentic traditional food within a contemporary open air setting. They also have tailor made experiences like private dinners and cooking classes.

Pizza Sapienza is their laidback restaurant by the pool serving freshly baked pizzas, calzones, grissini, and focaccia. Tahir serves dishes from the Levantine region such as light mezzes prepared with fresh ingredients. Brasserie de la Bay is your classic French brasserie and grill room located on a terrace with pristine views. There is also the Ormos Beach Club for poolside snacks and the Three Admirals Lounge for cocktails with a view.

Spa and Activities

There is an abundance of activities at the new Mandarin Oriental Greece. The Spa has a 25 meter indoor swimming pool in addition to a sauna, vitality pool, and relaxation rooms. There are also a variety of treatments and therapies for rejuvenating guests within the tranquil atmosphere.

Additionally, the Mandarin Oriental Greece has a state of the art fitness center with both indoor and outdoor spaces for working out. With the sea at this resort’s doorstep you have access to kite surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, fishing, and sailing. You can also enjoy the many hiking trails, bike paths, tennis courts, golf courses, and rock climbing routes in the area. For those into food and wine, you can participate in culinary programs like olive harvesting, wine classes, and farm to table cooking in the organic garden.
