Villa L’Amandier Hotel Arrives

L’Amandier in Morocco, is an intimate boutique hotel and luxury villa complex. It is located in the foothills of Atlas Mountains so it is a short one-hour drive from the heart of Marrakesh. The nearest international airport is also one hour away.

L’Amandier Overview

It does not matter how many destinations you have visited, Morocco remains one of the world’s most exotic destinations.  One of the best spots in this beautiful country is the tranquil Ouirgane Valley where Villa L’Amandier is located. The hotel has been a labor of love for over a dozen years, spearheaded by its British owners. After much anticipation, Villa L’Amandier Morocco is finally open to guests.

The luxury hotel is surrounded by pine forest and the dramatic Atlas Mountain range. Buildings on the complex are outlined with terracotta bricks that echo the tones of the nearby Berber villages. L’Amandiers’ landscaped grounds are a slice of paradise with rows of rosemary bushes and colorful flowers. Overall, the luxury complex, surrounded by nature, is a peaceful space in which to relax and unwind.

The Rooms

Each room at L’Amandier hotel Morocco has a stunning view of the mountains from its own balcony. The rooms have Bejemat tiled floors, luxurious cotton sheets and Moroccan soft furnishings. Each room is equipped with WiFi and air conditioning. The en-suite bathrooms contain a shower and a deep soaking bath. Many of the L’Amandier hotel rooms have a fireplace so you can enjoy log fires on chillier nights.

However, it is the villas that are the showstoppers. Each luxury villa has its own roof terrace which is perfect for sunsets and late nights catching up with friends. The elegant villas come equipped with their own open plan kitchen and dining room. Plus there is a courtyard that is perfect for al fresco dining. Villa guests can enjoy their own private plunge pool, and the services of a personal chef. L’Amandier villas sleep between 4 and 6 people comfortably in their en-suite bedrooms. There is air conditioning for the summer months in addition to heating for the winter months.

Amenities

Hotel and villa guests share the on site amenities. There is a 25-meter infinity pool that overlooks the Ouirgane National Park. A bar and restaurant serves the freshest of farm-to-table seasonal menus. Some of ingredients on the menu are sourced from L’Amandier’s own garden.

Guests can enjoy pre-arranged yoga classes, the hotel’s spa and hamman or games of tennis at the hotel’s clay tennis court. The tennis court alone may be one of the most beautiful settings that we’ve seen around the world.
