Located in the heart of East Hampton, The Maidstone is a historic boutique hotel that has been around for over 150 years. LDV Hospitality recently took over the iconic hotel, and brought the most disruptive (in a good way) updates to the Maidstone yet. The draw of the hotel has always been its close proximity to East Hampton Main Street, restaurants, and of course, the beach. So this central location makes it the perfect spot for a designer coffee shop. Or in this case, Gucci airstream. Gucci’s pop-up is one addition to The Maidstone that has coffee-lovers and the couture crowd excited. We never thought we’d say this, but Gucci coffee – it’s a thing this summer.

Designer coffee has become increasingly popular in recent years. Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Jacquemus, Ralph Lauren, and Dior all offer coffee, mainly at their own cafés in cities like Paris and New York. It’s hard to miss the Gucci coffee airstream, as it’s located right in front of the Maidstone Hotel. The idea behind the pop-up is to celebrate summer while capturing the style of the Gucci Lido collection, with the signature eggshell blue.
