Maybe it’s the hair, which he just owns long or short. Or his cooler than cool aura. Or the reason he’s Bon Jovi in the first place, which is top rock-star status. Whatever the reason, we just love us some Bon Jovi. He’s toured the world and these are his spots. If you’re itching to let out your inner rock star, here’s how you can travel like Bon Jovi.
The Hamptons
While he was born a Jersey boy, Jon Bon Jovi’s now based in Manhattan and spends his summers in East Hampton on Lily Pond Lane. One might argue that to travel like Bon Jovi, or any celeb of note, the Hamptons is a must on your travel bucket list. He’s also been known to give an impromptu performance here and there. Some places in East Hampton where a lucky handful have seen his intimate shows are The Clubhouse and the Blue Parrot. Since he owns the latter — a favorite of east-end Tex-Mex cuisine lovers for years — spontaneous sets wouldn’t be completely unexpected there.
South of France
Perhaps motivated by his pronounced love of rosé, Bon Jovi has spent quite a bit of time in the south of France. He recently visited Languedoc-Roussillon while gearing up to produce his own rosé. Bon Jovi teamed up with winemaker Gérard Bertrand to create a label called Hampton Water. When he’s on vacation rather than business, you can spot the rock icon catching rays on the Côte d’Azur.
The Caribbean
Perhaps inspired by his New Jersey roots, if there’s one thing we know about Bon Jovi’s vacation style, it’s that he’s all about sun and sand. This means that to travel like Bon Jovi is to seek out the bluest water and sandiest beaches. So it’s no surprise that one of Bon Jovi’s favorite destinations is St. Barths. There he can be found boating, biking, and keeping his great tan in the Caribbean. In fact, he hosted two Caribbean cruises just before the pandemic.
