The Jessica Alba Vacation

It may be a fact that people who build billion-dollar empires from scratch travel to some pretty cool places. We know for sure that applies to Jessica Alba. You may know her as an actor or a member of People’s Most Beautiful list. But if that’s it, then you don’t know her at all. This bada– entrepreneur built The Honest Company, whose worth went from $0 to $2.1 billion in 10 years. Not bad for a decade’s worth of work. Here’s where you, too, can do a Jessica Alba vacation.

Rosewood Mayakoba, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Jessica loves the Riviera Maya and the Rosewood Mayakoba so much that she was appointed a Rosewood Curator. However, her ties to the ancient Mayan ruins and sacred waters aren’t just for publicity. The star and her crew can’t get enough of the resort, and this may be the family favorite for a Jessica Alba vacation.

The Rosewood Mayakoba is more like a retreat than an average vacation. The Rosewood’s many islands connect to form a network of luxury villas with lagoon-front views. As a brand owner and actress, Jessica doesn’t get much time to fill her favorite role as a mom. At Mayakoba, she enjoys cooking authentic meals with her three kids and husband. The villas at Mayakoba fit her family comfortably with private suites that feature three to four bedrooms and generous living space.

When the family comes down to Mayakoba, their favorite things to do are swim in the magical cenotes and just relax. The sprawling resort village features plenty of upscale restaurants to explore. Their favorite is an authentic tostaderia where the kids love sampling fresh agua fresca and tacos. While, of course, Mom and Dad enjoy mezcal.

Rome and Milan, Italy

Even while promoting her brand, this mom won’t let work stop her from bringing her kids and family along to see the world. Before her makeup brand Honest launched in Milan, Jessica had the chance to take her kids and sister to the Colosseum in Rome. Despite traveling on one of the hottest days of 2019, the family had a blast exploring the city and learning about its history. They even had a behind-the-scenes private tour of the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel. But because luxury is also about authenticity, they ate at the home of a local to get a taste of fresh Roman meal. Check out our article on the best of Rome.

When Jessica headed off to Milan, she stayed at the Palazzo Parigi, a celeb favorite. This hotel is an exquisite architectural masterpiece in the heart of Milan, and it makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s home. Except with higher-thread-count sheets, frescoed ceilings and an exquisite spa.

Mom-cation to Four Seasons Oahu

While for the most part Jessica is always with her three mini-me’s and husband, she also knows the value of self-care. In October 2020, Jessica sat down with friend Drew Barrymore on her show to talk about the importance of the mom-cation. After a wild year stuck inside with her family, Jessica revealed that even she needed a break. Even though the pandemic was still raging, she got away for a few days to recharge. One of her favorite spots is the Four Seasons Oahu. The getaway in Hawaii is set right on the beach and offers plenty of restorative activities.
