At the top properties, hotel rates went sky-high even in a pandemic. That’s why we like the Pendry, the moderately-priced luxury hotel by parent group Montage. And it doesn’t look like the luxury is as moderate as the rate. Thanks to brand new rooms that are contemporary and sleek, the first look at this luxury Park City hotel gives high hopes.
They say its West goes Eastward in this 153-room California-inspired luxury Park City hotel. There’s an easy vibe at this three-building outpost of the luxury hotel group. The hotel fits with the high-end ski culture that’s all around. Essentially it’s a ski-in ski-out center built around an open fireplace plaza — a great place for relaxing after a day on the slopes.
Food + Après-Ski Drink
At the Après Pendry bar, guests will find the perfect post-piste drinks. The restaurants, KITA and Disco Pizza, serve culinary masterpieces like, respectively, yuzu-buttered steak and laidback sharing plates. Soon, the area’s only rooftop pool and lounge will open.
Despite the prevalence of other luxury hotels, none have what the Pendry offers. The hotel highlights and complements the location beautifully, and most rooms have incredible mountain views. Park City hotels are nice, but the Pendry takes it a step further with its combination of cool, modern, and fun.
