If you want a luxury island vacation, you have plenty of options at your disposal. But the creme de la creme for well-to-do travelers is St Barths, the Maldives, and the Seychelles. Luckily, Cheval Blanc, the luxe hospitality brand owned by none other than LVMH, has properties in all three. And, of course, they are all perfect in every aspect, but we have a preference for Cheval Blanc Seychelles. It could be the setting – the combination of a white-sand, turquoise-water beach and thick, green jungle. Or maybe it’s the fact that the guest accommodations are a masterclass in modern and minimalistic elegance. Or it could have something to do with the onsite Guerlain spa. In fact, it’s probably all three – and then some.
The Villas
There are no such things as rooms or suites at Cheval Blanc Seychelles. Instead, there are villas. 52 of them to be exact. While that might sound like a large number, worry not: privacy is a priority at Cheval Blanc, so you won’t be bothered by other guests. You’ll be in your own opulent cocoon.
The villas range from one-bedroom for two guests to three bedrooms for six guests. That means that whether you’re at Cheval Blanc Seychelles to spend quality time with your beloved or to have a fun family vacation with the whole clan, you’ll find what you need.

All 52 villas on the property were designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, famous for his work in luxury hotels around the world. The vibe at Cheval Blanc Seychelles is contemporary, white, and minimalistic, allowing the striking natural surroundings to shine. All the villas have large outdoor spaces, including pools, so that you can spend as much time outside as possible.
The villas are located throughout the property, from the beach to the jungle. It is for you to decide if you prefer to wake up with your toes in the Indian Ocean or under a lush tree canopy.
The Wellness Facilities

When you’re in a location as paradisiacal as the Seychelles, it’s easy to unwind and be your most relaxed self. That said, if you need a little help getting there, the wellness facilities won’t let you down.
The guided yoga classes and mediation sessions will set your mind at ease and loosen up those tight muscles. And for those who need something a little more active, the gym, with its state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and gigantic outdoor pool, will allow you to sweat and swim out all the stress and keep you in top shape.
The Guerlain Spa, surrounded by the jungle and with views of the ocean, will also help you to unwind. The treatment menu offers everything you’ll need to feel serene and beautiful, including a warm seashell massage, and orchid-based facials.
Activities at Cheval Blanc Seychelles

If all you want to do during your stay at Cheval Blanc is indulge in spa treatments, lounge by the edge of your own pool, and sunbathe on the beach, go for it. After all, you’re on vacation and doing nothing is highly recommended. However, if you’d like to partake in more active endeavors, the resort has plenty of experiences for you to choose from.
The onsite tennis and padel courts are an obvious choice to pass the time, but why not try the surf simulator too? You’ll learn how to ride waves in a safe environment and accompanied by an expert. If you prefer to be on or in the ocean, the resort will organize sailing, fishing, marine safaris, and snorkeling activities. And for travelers who like to have their feet on the ground rather than bob at sea, there is a wealth of island tours and hikes available to you.

Children won’t get bored either. Le Carrousel, the resort’s kids club, welcomes children from age three to 12 for both indoors and outdoors activities that will keep everyone busy and entertained. There are special pools and slides for littles ones to enjoy water activities safely.
