Your Private House in Patagonia for the Holidays

House in Patagonia, Paguimalal

Nothing like the holidays makes you want to get away with your family or a group of friends from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and take a breather. And if that breather happens to be in the luxury private vacation house in Patagonia, then that just means that the universe wants you to get away too.

Welcome to the private, family-owned estate: Paguimalal (a play on the owner’s three childrens’ names: Paloma, Guillermo, and Matilde, and the Mapuche word for “place”). Located on the Chilean Lake Districts and overlooking the lake and its forested peninsula, there is no better location for a family to enjoy the wild region. We’re talking picturesque sunsets, sipping wine in the garden hot tub, and dining on the finest regional meals (which are included in your stay, and are prepared by the finest local chefs).

Accommodations

Paguimalal comes with one Master Bedroom, three Guest Bedrooms, one Exterior Suite – which means that Paguimalal can house up to fourteen guests. The wood-lined interior, multitude of fireplaces, and library of regional photo books makes the house feel spacious, yet cozy. The floor-to-ceiling windows take full advantage of the lake views and nature surrounding the house. In other words, the house already feels like the holidays all year round.

Excursions

And should you ever want to leave (you won’t, but let’s imagine for argument’s sake), Pucón, Chile’s adventure capital is located a 10-minute car ride away. Not only does Pucón come with a vibrant town center and countless outdoor activities for the whole family, but it is also stunningly beautiful. Paguimalal guests can enjoy privately-guided tours, and tailor-made experiences that appeal to your family’s interests, which are selected by the homeowners. Most of the excursions are included in your stay.
