Today we Galavante to Dublin in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. A national holiday for the Irish, that holiday often extends to beyond the borders of the Emerald Isle. On St. Patrick’s Day, it seems everyone is Irish, with boisterous celebrations across the U.S., where in Chicago, they even dye the river green. No joke.

My trip to Ireland to research our Dublin feature this past February was the first time I have been to this gorgeous country, in spite of being married for 13 years to an Irishman.
We traveled all over to Ireland, including Northern Ireland, where we met up with one of our groomsmen Louis, and his lovely girlfriend Jillian, for the weekend. The last time we saw Louis was our wedding, so his first question to us, was, “How was the honeymoon”. It’s the humor, wit and warm welcome of friends like Louis and Jillian that we felt all throughout Ireland. I’m already looking forward to our next trip back.
