Why stop at rose-colored, when you have blue, green, yellow and pretty much every other color of the rainbow? Estelle colored glassware brings fun back to those special-occasion lavish dinners, as well as everyday life. File this one under life’s little luxuries.
Inspired by Estelle
The Founder of Estelle Colored Glasses, Stephanie Summerson Hall, named the company after her grandmother, Estelle. When Stephanie was growing up, Estelle loved antiquing and collected colored glasses as part of her personal collection. Stephanie would join her on these trips around their South Carolina town during the summertime. Those treasures they found would show up at Sunday dinners at Estelle’s. It was this experience that exposed Stephanie to the art of being a gracious hostess, and eventually Estelle colored glassware was born.
The Colored Glassware
We fell in love with these glasses because of their bright colors, and the diversity of the collection. Estelle colored glassware comes in everything from tumblers, to champagne coupes and also cake stands. There is something about having a beautiful table set up when you have guests. Besides creating dishes that are inspired by travel, what you serve them in brings back an age of gracious entertaining.
The glasses are made in Poland by a manufacturer who has been in business for over 100 years. The Estelle colored glassware both feel vintage, but also modern. The price point won’t break your bank, starting around $38/glass. You can add these glasses to your list of host gifts, or gifts for yourself and your holiday table. These are a few of our favorites from the collection, which can be purchased on Estelle’s website.
