(Served with Cherries, Graham Crackers, Marshmallows)
Let’s be honest: Getting kids to eat healthfully can be exhausting. Why not get a little crazy and serve them a giant pot of oozing, warm chocolate. Sure, every adult in a 10-mile radius may pay for it for hours to come, but it’s worth a once-a-year splurge.
Yield: 10–12 servings
Place a medium metal bowl over a pot of simmering water, being sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch water. Add bittersweet and unsweetened chocolate to bowl. Add cream. Stir occasionally until chocolate has melted and entire mixture is warmed through.
To serve, transfer mixture to fondue pot, and keep pot on low flame. Keep graham crackers, marshmallows, and cherries on separate platter for dipping. Right before serving, add white chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate starts to melt and swirls into dark chocolate mixture.
