There are three Soho Houses in New York City. There’s Ludlow House in the Lower East Side, DUMBO House in DUMBO, of course, and the iconic Soho House New York on Ninth Avenue. But that’s not enough for New Yorkers. When the chaos of urban life becomes a little too much, they need a proper place to retreat. And what New Yorkers want, New Yorkers get, so Soho House is building Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley. It’s not quite ready yet – construction should be complete in 2027 – but we’re already imagining whiling away entire afternoons on the promised 250 acres of land.
Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley
To give New Yorkers the peace and quiet they’re looking for without forcing them to drive for hours to reach it, Soho House opted to set up shop in the Hudson Valley. Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley will be located just outside the town of Rhinebeck, less than two hours from Manhattan by car. The 250-acre property known as Grasmere Estate, is a former working farm that comprises several 19th-century buildings and a manor house. After the thorough renovation it’s undergoing, we have no doubt that the property will be city dwellers’ favorite getaway.
Because it’s still under construction and will be until 2027, we currently know very little about what Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley will have in store for us. What we do know for now is that there will be overnight accommodations (luxury rooms and cabins), food and drink venues, hiking and cycling opportunities, and spa and wellness offerings. We expected no less.
Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley won’t be the first Soho Farmhouse. There’s one in sunny Ibiza, Spain, and one in Oxfordshire, England, where the wellness and fitness spaces are top of the line. And, if those two properties are anything to go by, we’re in for a treat. There’s a Soho Farmhouse in Tuscany in the works, too, but it’s still very much under wraps.
Membership At Soho House
All Soho House properties spread around the world are members-only. The price of membership varies according to the property.
For example, membership at Ludlow House starts from $800 quarterly, while it starts from $950 quarterly at Soho House New York and DUMBO House.
Membership allows access to 48 Soho Houses in 19 countries, including the properties’ gyms, spas, clubs, pools, restaurants, and more.
Other Upcoming Soho House Openings
Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley is far from the only excitement on Soho House’s calendar.
Soho House Tokyo, the first Soho House property in Japan, opened on April 7, and Soho House Los Cabos is set to launch later in 2026.
More importantly, work on Soho House Flatiron will start in late 2026. The largest Soho House in the city will have state-of-the-art health and fitness facilities, a rooftop terrace, a club, and overnight accommodations.
