Most Anticipated Hotel Openings of 2025

Rachel Singh, Staff Writer

Sometimes with the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s easy to miss what’s really important. And besides the obvious things, what’s important is to keep an eye on what’s coming in hot hotel-wise. But don’t worry — we’ve got you. All you need to do is plan a big travel year ahead, and focus on the (other) important things. Here is our list of some of the most anticipated hotel openings in 2025.

Hotel: Six Senses London

Location: London, UK

Six Senses London will open in a restored art deco building near Hyde Park. With 109 guest rooms and suites, and 14 branded residences, Six Senses London will have it all. We’re talking a cozy lobby bar lounge, plentiful space for private events, an all-day restaurant boasting an open kitchen, and outdoor seating in the courtyard. In classic Six Senses fashion, each detail of the new London hotel will consider the holistic senses to provide balance and harmony to every guest. Highlights of the property will include: a 3,500 square feet fitness center, a dedicated coworking space, a 65-foot indoor swimming pool, the Alchemy Bar, and a relaxation room with vaulted ceilings.

Hotel: Rosewood Amsterdam

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Rosewood group is expanding in Europe and we are all here for it. For their latest project, they chose local design studios and architects to develop the luxury hospitality group’s first hotel in the Netherlands. And not just anywhere in the Netherlands — in the magnificent former Palace of Justice, on the UNESCO-World-Heritage-listed Amsterdam Canal District. The building is not only architecturally beautiful, but also exudes history: it was originally built in 1665. The hotel design incorporates allusions to its past — we’re talking a full library of law books. It also overlooks one of the city’s most beautiful waterways, and is complemented with three distinct courtyards, designed by Piet Oudolf, internationally renowned for his work on the New York High Line.

The property will offer 134 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants and bars, a spa, a fitness center, and an indoor pool. They’ve thought of it all. Centrally located, it’s perfect for visiting guests and locals alike.

Hotel: Four Seasons Shura Island

Location: Shura Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently invested significant capital to boost its tourism industry. Its most recent and extravagant project focuses on developing an ultra-luxury world-class destination, which will include several international luxury brand properties (11 to be specific). And, of course, you can’t have international luxury properties without a Four Seasons hotel. Welcome, Four Seasons Shura Island.

Shura Island is naturally dolphin-shaped. But, the only way guests can get to The Four Seasons Shura Island resort will be by plane, through the resort’s dedicated airport (currently under development). Once on land, visitors will be rewarded with lagoons, beaches, dunes, an 18-hole championship golf course, and a yacht marina. As that’s not enough, guests will also be able to take advantage of the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef system, mangroves, dormant volcanoes, and local wildlife. All nature-inspired, the Four Season Shura Island promises a barefoot luxury experience like nothing else in the region.

Hotel: One&Only Moonlight Basin

Location: Big Sky, Montana, USA

One&Only is opening its first alpine US resort in Montana and we couldn’t be more excited. In true One&Only style, they promise to deliver off-piste glamour in a six-building complex (73 guest rooms and suites), as well as 19 guest cabins to Montana. This forthcoming cozy luxury ski resort will also bring you six restaurants and bars, including a Japanese steakhouse and a ski lodge.

The resort has direct access to the gondola, making it easy for you and your family to hit those slopes first thing in the morning (or much later, after your gourmet breakfast — to each their own). And for warmer months, there’s still plenty to do, from fly fishing and golfing, to visiting the beautiful Yellowstone National Park (which is just a short drive away). And for One&Only’s biggest fans, you can stay at one of the 62 One&Only private residences, which are built among the pine trees for maximum privacy in the untamed beauty of Montana.
