This guy knows a thing or two about breaking records. Shaun White collected three gold medals in snowboarding over five Winter Olympics. And he has won more X Games gold than any other snowboarder. In short, the Flying Tomato has earned his retirement, and travel is now at the top of his list. Shaun White dials us into what he’s up to now with girlfriend Nina Dobrev. As of December, Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have been on the move. Here’s where they’ve traveled together in the past few months.
The Destination: Tulum, Mexico
It seems that this couple’s travel philosophy is to find adventure off the beaten path. Maybe they’re going for a low profile, or simply share a sense of insatiable wanderlust. And you know it’s serious when it’s time for the parents to meet. For the holidays, Shaun White and Nina Dobrev, and each of their families, came together to celebrate in Mexico. Boating through the clear blue waters, the families were all smiles in Nina’s photos.
The Destination: Antarctica
It seems that where these two travel, friends and family follow. When we say “friends,” we mean fellow celebs, like Zoey Deutch and Jared Leto. Lucky for us, Nina chronicled their glacial New Year’s getaway on her Instagram account. From hitting the powder on snowboards to helicopter rides, Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have pioneered a South Pole adventure that we all are running to put on our bucket lists. And if that’s not enough, they also got to hang out with penguins.
The Destination: Indonesia
It appears that Shaun White and Nina Dobrev traded in negative temperatures and snow gear for palm trees and island vibes. Quickly adopting the hashtag #IndoNINA, the impetus for this sun-soaked getaway was to celebrate Nina’s 34th birthday. With high-profile celebs like Julianne Hough, Adam DeVine, and Chloe Bridges by their sides, Nina and Shaun took to the beach. Perhaps the highlight of the festivities was the luxurious wood-paneled Prana yacht, which is giving us serious Pirates of the Caribbean vibes.
