You know at Galavante’s 501c3 Foundation, part of our mission is to support education and women’s rights. Since the start, we put our money where our mouth is. We have directly provided Afghan women, who otherwise would have no rights to learn, work or even go outside alone, opportunities pursue their dreams at schools like HEC and Georgetown. You may know Ubah Hassan as a Super Model, Entrepreneur, TV Star and Philanthropist. What you may not know is that Ubah is also an artist. Ubah’s unique paintings represent her unique life experiences. Ubah grew up in challenging environments in Somalia. Today you can see her storied rise as a Real Housewife of New York. No matter how you look at it, there is more to Ubah than meets the eye.
Ubah’s art also represents the passion she has for people and causes that are near and dear to her heart. This painting is entitled: The Strength of Women. It’s inspired by the women who have guided Ubah in her life, especially her beloved mother. Ubah generously donated this painting out of her private collection, to support the opportunities of the women we sponsor.
The Details: This original art is acrylic paint on canvas. It measures 36″ H and 48″ Wide.
