It’s time to take a break from the hard core pandemic stories this week. Let’s pretend like this is February 2020 and we just got the hottest news to hit the wires. Aman will be launching JANU, a brand new hotel group within their portfolio that is all about getting social with the top of the food chain.
A Unique Hotel Concept
So how are they going to achieve this? It’s still all in the works, but our impression is that it’s going to be a vibey hotel scene – good music, getting to know the other guests and a larger hotel footprint with around 100+ rooms. Price points will be premium, but gentler on the pocket than Aman. In other words, the perfect place to meet significant other number 1, or at least number 3, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.
In the Pipeline
Don’t get us wrong; we’ve had life-changing experiences at Aman, where the traditional brand focuses on tranquility, peace and inner connection. But Janu sounds like a shot of energy with its focus on “social wellness”. Currently there are three hotels in the pipeline; Montenegro (2022), Al Ula in Saudi Arabia (2022) and Tokyo (2022). You’ll know where to find us.
