Celebrities are about to get a whole lot more interesting this holiday season as they hit the road. After all, when your films make over $100 mil at the box office, you’ve got some disposable income to burn. These are three celebrity holiday destinations to put on the list.
The Celebrity: Keanu Reeves
The Location: Berlin
OK, so technically, Keanu is in Berlin this time to film the new John Wick movie. But we consider this a happy accident. Berlin is always buzzing, but it comes alive particularly for the holidays. It is hard to beat a German Christmas market, and their famed Glühwein, which is a signature warm spiced wine. For the art scene and the restaurants, Berlin is a top celebrity holiday destination.
The Hotel:
Keanu prefers SO/ Berlin Das Stue, which is the former Danish Embassy. Today, it’s a chic boutique hotel that has an intimate feel of a friend’s home (albeit a very nice one, with a big dinosaur skeleton in the entry). However, in Berlin there are a number of hot hotels to
choose from. Rocco Forte and the newly renovated Ritz Carlton are currently all the buzz.
The Celebrity: Channing Tatum
The Location: Cabo
It seems Magic Mike is still making moves. After divorcing from Jenna in 2019, he’s been rumored to have on-again/off-again relationships, most recently with Zoë Kravitz. It could be. They both just dropped a couple million, respectively, on new digs. But that hasn’t stopped Channing from making it out of town to the beach. This season, he’s hitting his favorite spot, Cabo. Some guys are just meant to be in a swimsuit. While Channing has gone big partying with Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine there, we can make your Cabo almost as
glamourous.
The Hotel:
One&Only Palmilla is a perennially one of the top holiday celebrity destinations. There’s new competition in town, though, with the opening of the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. Next year, Four Seasons will be joined by Aman with its first Mexico outpost.
The Celebrity: Olivia Rodrigo
The Location: Disney World
If you’re a new pop star, the world is your oyster. But if you’re barely 18, you have all the time in the world to try the big boy stuff. We love that Olivia just wants to be a kid at Disney World. Let’s be real, sometimes roller coasters are fun — especially if we can take the kids or the niece and nephew. There’s something about being the cool aunt at Christmas that makes the trip well worth it. (P.S. If you need a toy to wrap, too, we’ve got you.)
The Hotel: The Four Seasons
The thing about Disney is that it is for kids. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a real hotel, you have to stay at the Four Seasons. The view of the fireworks from the balcony is perfect for the kids, but there’s also the adults-only infinity pool. We also love that this is all the benefits of Disney with the Four Seasons-level service we’re accustomed to.
