If you’re in the circle of trust, you call her Annie. Or at least the Princess of Genovia. Anne Hathaway has graced the big screen for over two decades. By junkets alone, she’s acquired quite the travel lists. Here are four spots where you too can travel like Anne.
Soho Beach House, Miami
Only at Soho Beach House would Anne and Adam blend right in. Membership at the club says enough about the kind of people you’ll find there. The family made use of the pool and the private beach which offer elite patrons the kind of privacy they need. With a two-year-old in tow, the couple might not have been able to enjoy the night club, but back in the day they totally would have. But Soho Beach House is so cool it doesn’t matter whether you party hard or choose the morning hours to sunbathe. Members-only clubs are how you travel like Anne.
The Whitby, NYC
You can visit New York a thousand times and always do something new. Anne has spent a good deal of her life in the city, but never fails to make her time there any less special. Located in Midtown, the Whitby is two blocks from Central Park, right on Fifth Avenue. The afternoon tea at The Whitby Bar is not to be missed. There are very few places in the states that do it quite like they do across the Atlantic, but the Whitby borrows its recipes and china right from its sister hotels in London. The Princess of Genovia would have nothing less.
Valentino’s Yacht, Spain
Some people are lucky enough to get invited to the Valentino’s Yacht. While traveling like Anne requires some key connections, the Mediterranean is a good place to venture if you want to feel like a Hollywood princess. The boat in question, the T.M. Blue One, is an Italian masterpiece designed by Picchiotti and was delivered to Valentino in the 80s. Even though it’s an aging vessel, it’s still top of the line when it comes to luxury. All one has to do to be like Anne while on board is wear a bikini and bask in the sun.
Rome
It was a family affair just a few months ago when Anne took husband Adam and two-year-old son Jack to Rome for a little vacation. The family visited the San Clemente Basilica and dined at a famed restaurant nearby, La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali. Of course, The Devil Wears Prada star looked impeccably chic even as she strolled through the streets. The family didn’t reveal their accommodations this time, but in the past Anne has stayed at the Excelsior.
Usually Anne is a NYC gal. Here’s what a day in the life of a celeb in NYC is like.
